Step-Back Cupboard

My husband made this cupboard for me a couple of years ago and it sat in our garage for 2 1/2 years waiting for me to paint it............. he doesn't like that part of the crafting so it's all mine. Finally in August I took the time to paint it and we moved it into the dining room. Well the doors didn't fit so he had to cut them down a bit and I painted the edges then it sat and sat in the dining room for 4 more months without the bottom doors attached! Today he took the time to put them on and it is officially done! I'm so excited..... now I can start looking for or making some new things to display on it!

Also, I wanted to show you a close up of the wild rose hip branches I cut. I wasn't sure how well they would stay on the branches so I only clipped a hand full but they are holding up great! Sure wish I would have picked more............ they look so pretty!

  3. Teresa....so jealous of that talented hubby of yours! What a great creation to have in your house. Now to fill it up with goodies!

One year at a craft bazaar at our church, my aunt had clipped wild rosehips and bundled them up in paper cones for my cousin to sell at our table. She actually sold all of them.

  5. Wow what a cabinet. How did you let it sit for 2 years, I would have been all over that the minute the last nail was in! Very nice and can hardly wait to see what new goodies you make to fill it with
