Busy busy busy!

I had my woodworker busy this weekend!
We are scurrying to finish up orders for the PSS Retreat Merchant Mall in Columbus Ohio, the first weekend in May!
We have almost 50 of the 4 drawer thread cupboards complete!  Yippee!!!
That is made... but now my work begins with the final sanding and painting!
Hopefully the weather will warm up this week that I can get started!
This is what the final project looks like!

We ran to get a new batch of wood Saturday morning! This much made the last 100 drawers we needed to fill the 50 cupboards!

Here is my happy little woodworker!  Working hard for me!
200 drawers get a bit repetitive at times.

Two weeks ago we cut most of the pieces and started putting the cupboards together!

50 Tops

Last weekend Jeff finished the cupboard shells while I was away!

Hopefully in a couple days I can post a picture of  them sanded and ready for the painting!!!

PHM Update tonight and my Inspiration for one design!

While browsing the antique mall a few weeks ago this sweet little bag caught my eye!  It was labeled "seed bag" with a question mark!  I felt that was a logical guess as to what it was used for.  My first thoughts were what a great shape it would make for a cross stitch or embroidery design so it had to come home with me!  A pattern is in the works so be watching for that!  I used some of my stitching designs which I've placed on my 1 Year of Stitches challenge.
Here is the bag I created with the inspiration of the antique fine!
And here is the antique bag! Needs an iron but wanted to maybe lightly wash it first.

The rest of my offerings for Primitive Handmades Mercantile this month are a punch needle wool egg with a check, bunny punch needle spoon, tulip in bloom pocket and a tulip pinkeep!

Enjoy your weekend!
