Finished a needlepunch project!

I punched this months ago and it has been waiting patiently for me to finish it!!! It is my very first punched piece so I will be using it in my home! There are so many things you can do with these sweet little things and I couldn't decide what I wanted to do............well today I made a decision and mounted it on a board. I was busy all day painting and finishing up more laptop desks and candle shelves so while the paint was drying I ran to the shed and cut out the board and threw it on the paint table! Wish I could finish all projects that quickly!

I mounted it to the board with glue..........which I'm not a fan of glue at all......... not sure if it will stick or not!!! Any other suggestions on how to mount these on boards??? I really would appreciate some ideas!

Enjoy the rest of your day!!!

  3. YOU AMAZE ME! You went out to the shop and cut that wood out yourself? WOW! What CAN'T you do? LOL I love how you have it on the wood..what a great idea and I love the design. I bought a kit through Tarrah and I have to get the needle thing~a~mi~jig and punch away! Here is a thought..could you use decorative carpet tacks (I think that is what they are called) in each corner to hold the design to the board? Hmm?

  11. Thanks for all the nice compliments girls!!!

Robin......... I need to keep this one because it was my first! I hope to create more for my Etsy shop but don't know when that will happen! I have so much started right now!

What I can do is make the boards for anyone that needs one. Unfinished or painted in any color you want.

  14. I like that, Teresa. Nice touch on adhering it to a board. Is it still sticking to the board?

  15. This turned out really nice. I haven't used my punch needle in quite some time. Next time try some double-sided carpet tape or Terrifically Tacky Tape to mount it to the wood. I've used both types on my embroidery projects with no problems.
