Can you believe we are in the month of July already?!?!? Time sure is flying by and the rest of my Summer is going to be so busy I'm sure it will past even quicker!
Let see! The first bit of exciting news I have is I'm featured in a magazine called The Wool Street Journal!
If you would like to find where to purchase the magazine and learn a bit more about my story on how I started "hooking" be sure to check it out! You can see a sneak peek of the issue by clicking here!
I couldn't tell my story without including Robin Leuschen of Bird In The Hand Primitives, Linda from Grant St Woolworks and Kathy Harris so you will read a bit about them as well!
And oh yes!!! Robin designed a wonderful nautical hooked rug design for the issue!
I designed this hooked Flag Bag to be released along with the issue! It can also be appliqued! The pattern is available on my website for $12.00 but if you order here in this blog post or by sending me an email you can have it for $6.00! I will send it to you in a PDF!
Here is the appliqued version and the finished bag is available on my PHM page this month!
Some other exciting news I would love to share is I'm going to be setting up my wares at a show on September 21st at Lori Brechlin of Notforgotten Farm's Gathering of Primitive Friends show! You can read all about it here on her blog!
This will make the start of 4 weekends in a row of shows!!! A first for me so I'm busy busy busy stitching, sanding and painting inventory so I'm ready!
Next week I will post pictures of the new wares being created! Until then! Stay cool and dry!
