Sifter Frame & PHM update!

New offerings on Primitive Handmades Mercantile tonight at 9pm est!  Summer has flown by and Fall is fast approching and will be gone before we know it!
August is probably my busiest month of the year with 2 shows!
I didn't take one picture on Saturday at the Lititz show.... I have no idea why... I felt so unorganized for some reason!  Could have been the humidity and worry of storms........ which by the way held off until we packed in record time because one was coming!
Next Saturday is the Shippensburg Corn Festival, Shippensburg, PA!  It's a nice show with about 200 vendors down main street of town.
My space number is D207 if you by chance are coming......... look me up!
Jeff has left his banking job and is now my full time woodworker!  Not sure how that is working out some days! LOL   A big adjustment for me!
I hope to get some new ideas on the table saw as soon as these shows are over!
I loved these for my hooked rugs and if you would like to order a frame like this Jeff is ready to start making them!
They measure 12" by 12" and are made from reclaimed oak barn boards!   The price is $36.00 plus shipping! Just send an email to .....teresasprim@yahoo.com to place an order.

And don't forget!!! Tonight is PHM update and this is a peek of what I will be offering!

Hartslog Days 2014

What a fun day with two of my sisters, a niece and my daughter-in-law on Saturday!  We jumped in the box truck at 4:15am and drove the entire time in rain!  It took us 1 hour 45 minutes to arrive and the rain was letting up as we unloaded the truck!  The clouds continued to break up and the sun peeked through leaving us with a very pleasant Fall day!

This was the last of the outdoor shows for 2014!
I'm now preparing for my home show which is October 31, November 1 & 2!!!
Please message for more information if you live close by!

Armstrong Valley Winery Craft Show Pictures

I'm a little late here but when I have 2 shows back to back I'm a bit frazzled!  I really can't see how some vendors do this every weekend!
It was a cold and damp day on Saturday and Sunday was dry but breezy!  A chill was in the air!

Started a new hooked piece!

Where did this week go?!?!?! So much happening here I can't seem to get caught up! I had to take a day off from orders yesterday so I went to the Grant Street Wool Shop! Started a new hooked piece using linen. Love this pattern by Anne Nichols called 1808. Kathy at Rugs of Mine in Timehelped me pick out the perfect colors of wool! She is such a big help!!! Now today it is sitting here calling my name but I must finish up some dolls for my patient customers!
Check out this sweet little magnet I purchased there too! Linda the owner and one of the other hookers and I can't remember her name.... hopefully Kathy can pass that along to us.....made these for an upcoming show! They hold the scissors on your work area!!! It took me a whole second to decide I needed one of these! Love it!
Reminder!!!! One more week before the next update at Primitive Handmades Mercantile If you see something in one of the shops that is still available you better get it now because it all will be changing next Friday!
Until next time! Have a great day!

Lititz Craft Show Pictures

It was a perfect day for a show up until 3:40pm and then it started to rain! Lots of happy shoppers were out in the morning and well into the afternoon! Too bad we had to end it so abruptly with only 20 minutes to go! I was able to meet a couple more online friends which was real nice! I wanted to show these cupboards before I left for the show but was too busy to take the pictures so here they are in the booth! Jeff did a fine job making these using old 3 pane windows as the doors. One in New England red.....
One in Olde Ivory....
One in Mustard....
I usually don't get a good shot of the whole booth because we are still setting things up when the crowd begins but we got started by 5:00am and were done in good time this year!

This is what we were dealing with at 4:15.....Can you see the water running down the side of the curb?!?!? And this was a low point! Not fun standing in water up to your ankles with the thunder roaring! At one point these totes were floating! Luckily the wind did not pick up and destroy the tents! Despite the unhappy ending we had a great show and good time.
