A Busy Winter!

WOW! Where to start! One wonderful insight into this cold and snowy Winter has been the online requests for my handmades! I'm so blessed to have had the opportunity to be a stay at home mom when my kids were little and now a stay at home wife....... just because I don't have time for a job outside of the home!
I guess I will start with the new "treasures" I created for the February PHM updates! I did a bit of everything I love to do! I've been on the search for old washboards to add some hand mades to like you see here behind the pillow!

Also, getting ready for the OFG Etsy Team's Spring Celebration which starts on Monday, February 24th!   You will be able to find all the artists new items by typing NBCOFG in the Etsy Search Bar! But remember they won't be added until Monday morning!
Here is what I've created so far! Still have needle punched piece to finish up before Monday!

Find these in my Etsy shop on Monday!

I've been working on lots of Spring Thyme Ornaments too!  Love these little bunnies.  Going to be putting some pin backs on them too!  They can be used for bowl fillers, ornaments and pins!

Guess that is it for now!!!  Off this computer to start some stitching!!!  Have a great day and weekend!!!

A great Winter for Stitching!

I love when I get orders for things I haven't made in a while!  Nothing more relaxing than stitching by the fire on a cold and snowy day and we sure have been having lots of that!   Here are a few things I've recently finished up!

This doll is the last of my inventory before I start another batch! I posted her on my FB page and may take the time to add her to my Etsy shop this evening if someone doesn't scoop her up!  A faceless 12" prairie doll in a brown calico dress with tiny blue flowers. $23.00 plus $6.00 shipping!

I've been rounding up more crocks to cover with the prairie cloth toppers.  Each will have a different cross stitched flower of some sort.  Look for them in the next PHM update which is February 21st!
This crock is available in my Etsy shop right now!

Starting to make my Spring Thyme ornaments too!  Listed in my Etsy shop now!  Pattern available if you want to make your own!

Still have 3 kits in stock for the Valentine Ornaments if you would like to create your own!  Can be purchased in my Etsy shop or order here  today by sending me a message to receive Free Shipping! So your total cost would be $12.00!  You will receive the 5" wood embroidery hoop, needle, floss, rusted wire, bell, pin, osnaburg, wool and pattern!  All you supply is the time and stuffing!

Stay warm everyone!!!  If you have the icy conditions like here in PA! Stay safe and keep your feet on the ground!

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!!

November updates are now available on Primitive Handmades Mercantile! Here is what I came up with this month!

An old crock with prairie cloth cover!

A hooked Snowman pillow!

A hooked rug pillow! Snowman putting the star on the tree top.

This little guy is sooooooooo cute!  He stands only 6 inches tall.  Pattern design by Jackie Schmidt of T.F.C. Folk Art!  His clothes are made from an antique coverlet. This one is sold but I have 4 more here waiting for a new home!

Another favorite are these wool snippet garlands! 9 feet long and 1 inch thick!

Be sure to check out all the pages this month! So many great handmades from some very talented artists!
